The annual percentage change in real GDP, measured at constant local prices so inflation is out of it. ⚠ A RATE, NOT A LEVEL, and this is the thing to hold on to when reading the table: the top of any year’s list is usually a small economy rebounding from a bad year or opening an oil field, not a rich country.
