The Open Data Inventory asks whether a country’s national statistics office actually publishes its data, and whether that data is genuinely open — downloadable, machine-readable and free to reuse. Open Data Watch scores coverage and openness separately and combines them out of 100.
What the number is: ODIN overall score (0–100).

It checks what the national statistics office publishes and how openly, not whether the underlying figures are accurate.
