7 editions — 2007, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018 and 2023 — covering 139 to 160 economies, taken from the LPI's own dataset on World Bank Data360 (WB_LPI). It scores how efficiently goods move across and within a country's borders, from a survey of logistics professionals rating customs, infrastructure, shipment timeliness and tracking. The only trade-and-infrastructure measure on the site. Both the score and the rank are the World Bank's own: nothing here is derived, and scores are stored exactly as published, unrounded. ⚠ Note the five-year gap between 2018 and 2023: the Bank suspended the survey during the pandemic, so the trend line shows a real gap rather than an interpolation. ⚠ The 2023 edition is published at one decimal place, so 139 economies share just 25 distinct scores and many tie; the Bank resolves those ties itself with standard competition ranking, which is one more reason the published rank is stored rather than a derived one. The other six editions carry six or more decimals and have no tied scores at all. ⚠ 2007 stores 149 economies but its published ranks run 1–150: the missing rank 115 is Yugoslavia, a dissolved state with no country profile here, so the gap is the publisher's numbering left intact rather than a renumbering. ⚠ THE SURVEY LPI ENDED WITH 2023. In 2025 the World Bank replaced it with LPI 2.0, built on shipment tracking data instead of a survey — a different instrument, not an eighth edition, and deliberately not appended to this series.
