How much of a country’s output comes from farming, forestry and fishing. ⚠ NEITHER END IS BETTER, which is why this indicator carries no good/bad colouring and does not feed its topics’ rankings. The development-economics reading of a high share — “not yet industrialised” — is an opinion, and it is wrong about the countries that farm because they are good at it. A low share is equally the signature of a rich diversified economy and of a city-state with no farmland: Singapore and Aruba read 0.0 here. ⚠ 42 country-years the Bank records as exactly 0 (Brazil and Venezuela, 21 years each) are treated as missing and not imported; the 0.0 values that remain are real figures rounded to one decimal. ⚠ These are not 51 published reports — see `restatedByReport`. ⚠ No rank is published.
