Stillbirth Rate
24 years, 2000–2023 · 200 countries · 3 measures
The stillbirth rate is how many babies are born with no sign of life, at 28 weeks of pregnancy or later, for every thousand births. These deaths are counted by neither infant nor under-five mortality, because they happen before a live birth, and most of them can be prevented with good care in pregnancy and at delivery.
This site holds every year from 2000 to 2023, read from UN IGME’s own data and stored exactly as published.

Never. Tables on screen may show fewer decimals; the files never do.
Changed by this site
Reshaped into one row per country: regional and income-group totals are left out, only the columns listed are kept, each row gets its ISO 3166 code, and some country names are brought to one spelling. No value is recalculated, rescaled or rounded.
From the UN Inter-agency Group for Child Mortality Estimation, read out of UNICEF’s own SDMX warehouse (CME_SBR), the same route as the child mortality rates beside it.
